By default, assay data cannot be edited after import into LabKey Server. (We assume that the instrument generates the final, authoritative form of the data, which should not be changed after the fact.) But in cases where you want to change assay data after import to the server, you can alter your assay design to allow for assay data changes.

To allow for assay data edits:

• Go to your assay design: (Admin) > Manage Assays and click your assay design.
• Select Manage Assay Design > Edit Assay Design.
• Place a check mark next to Editable Runs and/or Editable Results. (for details on these properties see Assay Design Properties.)
• Click Save.
