DataClass categories were added for SM, so this concept did not exist in some of the original LKB UIs. Additionally we've not been consistent in some of our recent work about using Registy DataClass categories. Right now a LKB Registry dataclass can have a blank category or registry category. Filtering by these two category values should be consistent across UIs. Not all UIs have been checked but a few noted issues are in
- Registry home page
- Registry subnav
- Registry import page

The current behavior could be inconsistent showing non-LKB dataclasses or not showing both blank and registry category dataclasses.

Probably could add this to upcoming dataclass grid edit story.

Logically, I think it makes sense for the category to align. With that we'd only display "registry" category DC in the LKB Registry. We would want to adjust the creation of new DC in the registry to make sure they are configuring the category as "registry" by default. If we do elect to do this we should consider an upgrade script to touch all DC declared in LKB folders so they are set to a category of "registry" as so current users are updated to the new behavior.
