I am running into a problem trying to upload sequest/TPP results into CPAS. Nothing obvious changed since the last time (about 10 days ago) I uploaded data. Now I go to Process and import data, point to the directory with data and select prot.xml file - click Import results, and the process stalls - e.g. nothing happens only the webpage activity indicator spins as if trying to reload the page. When I go to the Pipeline page it indicates the given file as Waiting and there is nothing in the log file (blank page). I find no related errors in the Admin console site errors.

I am puzzled and would appreciate any suggestions and help.

Tomas

I would add that there is large number of current threads (guesstimate is ~50) of following type:
http-8080-processorX (WAITING) (or RUNNABLE)

Tomas,

Would it be possible to jump on a web conference with you so I can see what is occurring and we can debug the problem in real-time?

I am available tomorrow (Thursday) in the afternoon from 1-5pm, if you are available.

Brian,

So I ran into the same error again (after some work on our cluster) so I went and stopped the Tomcat (had to kill it) and restarted it, but now I cannot even get into the main CPAS webpage. Do not think we had that issue last time.
Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Tomas

Hi Tomas,

Are you getting an error when you try to access the server through your web browser? Or is the server not running at all?

Also, do you have access to the Tomcat log files? The one that's most likely to be helpful is %TOMCAT_HOME%/logs/labkey.log, but the other files in that same directory may contain useful information too. You can email them to us directly so they don't have to be posted here in the public support forum.

Thanks,
Josh
