Last week, PostgreSQL announced a critical fix for a potential data corruption problem [1]. The problem affects PostgreSQL Server versions; 9.3.x, 9.4.x. You can find more information in the PostgreSQL announcement [1].

We have reviewed the available information, and plan to upgrade all servers we manage in the coming week. We recommend all clients upgrade their servers during their next scheduled maintenance window.

The developers of PostgreSQL have found bug in this release of PostgreSQL server which may affect a small number of users. If you experience problem where your PostgreSQL server will refuse to restart after the upgrade, please see the section titled "I've hit this bug and I can't restart Postgres. What do I do?" in https://wiki.postgresql.org/wiki/May_2015_Fsync_Permissions_Bug
