Missing RedCap module? juha kekalainen  2015-07-21 04:44

Hi,

I just installed latest LabKey v15.2 release to Windows 2012r2 and I seem to be missing RedCap module.

I tried to follow this guide, but I am not able to enable RedCap module:

https://www.labkey.org/wiki/home/Documentation/page.view?name=redCap

"Under Modules, place a checkmark next to REDCap." << there is no such checkmark.

I tried to search RedCap module at the C:\Program Files (x86)\LabKey Server\modules folder, but it is missing.

So, do I need to seperately install it or am I doing something wrong here? :)

Yours,
Juha

Greetings Juha,

Thanks for your interest in LabKey Server and our REDCap integration capability. The new REDCap module is not part of our standard distribution of LabKey Server. If you're interested in using REDCap, or any of the other additional modules, please contact us directly to discuss options. We support these modules via service plans, which provide production-ready distributions, support, and training.

Thanks,
Adam

Maybe you guys should make that clear in the documentation? I'm sure there are more than just the two of us who invested effort trying to find it!

Rick.

Hi Rick,

My apologies - you shouldn't have had to invest effort to track this info down. I added an "Availability" section to the REDCap page as soon as I saw your message yesterday. We were still working through a few last, small updates associated with the v15.2 release, but I hadn't reached the REDCap page yet. Hope you enjoy the 15.2 release.

Kind regards,
Elizabeth

It's not really a problem. I needed to do the upgrade anyway but I had one internal client who is very anxious to see what Labkey can do for their project and he keeps on bugging me about REDCap integration!
