Move Runs

Use the "Move Runs" button to organize your runs. For example, if you created a subfolder for a particular experiment you may want to move all the applicable runs to that subfolder.
  • Select the files you want to move and click "Move Runs." You will see a list of folders to which you can move the file(s).
  • Once you click a folder, the file(s) will be moved to that new location.
Note: Project administrators have the ability to create subfolders via the Manage Folders link in the left navigation bar. If you do not have permission to Manager Folders, contact your project administrator.

Delete Runs

  • Use the "Delete Runs" button to remove the run file(s) from the Viewer.
  • When you click Delete Runs, the files are removed from your Runs list on the Viewer, and they are marked delete in the Repository. Files marked delete are purged from the Repository after two weeks.
  • If you delete a run by mistake, it can be recovered; please contact your project administrator immediately.

Add Runs

If your results are searched via the analysis pipeline, you will not need to use the "Add Runs" button; your runs are uploaded automatically as part of the analysis pipeline.
  • The "Add Runs" button is for developers who want to add a run directly from a location to which the web server can connect.
  • You will be prompted to enter the Description (the run name that will appear on the Runs List), and the full path and file name.
  • When you have finished, click "Upload Files."
  • Click "Show Runs" to cancel and return to the MS2 Runs list.
