I'm using LabKey server 17.10. We have setup our studies which contain lab data (and no participants or visits) with the properties: Sample as the Subject noun (SampleID as the column header) and a continuous timepoint type.

I'm having a problem importing Specimen data. After looking at the template and the Required Data Fields information, for my study it looks like I should just need to upload my SampleID in the Global Unique ID field and the [Non-Visit] Date associated with that SampleID. However, on submission of the data I get the error:

Error: row 1 does not contain a value for field visit_value
Error: row 2 does not contain a value for field visit_value
Error: row 3 does not contain a value for field visit_value

I've attached the file with the Specimen data and also the dataset properties for the dataset that contains those sample IDs. Your help is most appreciated.

What kind of study is this? Date-based? Visit-based? Continuous?

Also, is the Specimen repository the simple version or Advanced version?

Hello,

Looks like even though it's not mentioned, it is required when it comes to a continuous study.

I'll have to create a bug on this.

In the meantime, please add the field visit_value and just put in whatever numeric floating value in the field as you wish.
