Quick Charts provide a quick way to assess your data, showing the overall scale and distribution of the data. They also provide a quick way to eliminate outlying data.
Create a Quick Chart
- Navigate to a data grid you wish to visualize.
- Click a column header and select Quick Chart. (This column becomes the Y axis in the chart.)
- LabKey Server renders a quick chart, making a best guess at the following:
- Refine the chart in the following ways:
- Change the X and Y axes.
- View Data. Toggle to apply filters to the underlying data. Filters are reflected in the plot upon re-rendering.
- Options. Force rendering as a scatter plot or box plot. Refine the graphics, such as color and opacity.
- Save. Save as a named view.
