Manage an Existing Assay Design

If you click on the name of any assay in the Assay List on your portal, you will see a list of the assay's runs. The runs page provides a [manage assay design] link that allows you to:

• Edit the assay design
• Copy the assay design. This option lets you create a new assay design based on design of the current assay.
• Delete the assay design.
• Export the assay design to a XAR file.
• Set default values. Default values set here will be inherited by sub-folders that use this assay design and do not specify their own defaults. You can set defaults for:
• Batch fields
• Run fields
• Assay-specific fields. For example, for an ELISpot assay, additional menu items would include "Sample fields" and "Antigen fields."
