External Tool Access

When you select External Tool Access from the (Username) menu, you will find resources for accessing LabKey from external tools. Depending on the features enabled on your server, you may see one or more of the following:

API Keys: Used to authenticate client code accessing LabKey Server using one of the LabKey Client APIs.
Compliant Access via Session Key: An API Key that will expire at the end of the user session.
ODBC: External Tool Connections: Access LabKey from external tools using the ODBC connection. (Premium Feature)
External ODBC and JDBC Connections: Enable and configure access via the ODBC and JDBC drivers. (Premium Feature)
