Manage Your Study

Administrators can use the links under the "General Study Settings" heading to manage many study properties and settings.

• Study Properties: Set values for properties which will appear on the Study Overview tab.
• Define Custom Study Properties: Define additional properties for all studies in this project.
• Manage Datasets: Create or edit datasets and their schemas.
• Manage Visits or Timepoints: Create, map, and edit timepoints or visits.
• Study Schedule: Manage the schedule and track study progress.
• Manage Locations: Create and edit labs and sites.
• Manage Cohorts: Define cohorts and assign participants to them.
• Manage Participant Groups: Define participant groups.
• Manage Alternate Participant IDs and Aliases. Two methods for obscuring actual participant identifiers. See details below.
• Manage Security: Manage Study Security, including access to datasets as a whole or on a per-dataset basis.
• Manage Views: Manage reports, charts, and views and their metadata.
• Manage Dataset QC States: Manage quality control states.
• Manage Study Products: Define immunogen and adjuvant information for vaccines.
• Manage Treatments: Configure immunization treatments and schedule.
• Manage Assay Schedule: Define assay/specimen configurations, timepoint mapping and an assay plan.

Manage Alternate Participant IDs and Aliases

There are two options related to participant identifiers in this section:

• Alternate Participant IDs: Generate random IDs for participants when publishing or exporting data.
• Alias Participant IDs: Provide your own mapping of various aliases to the participant IDs defined in the study; useful when importing and aligning data.
